Photographer Locations

Powdershots Photographers are out on the hill in various locations around the mountain ready to shoot your action or portrait photographs (see table below). Normal shoot times are from 10:00am to 12:30pm for action locations and 10:00am to 2:00pm for the top of the Tram. Of ourse, all locations and times may vary depending on weather and snow conditions.

Powder Days

On "Powder Days", when there is a substantial amount of fresh untracked snow, the photographers may be out shooting the powder on Regulator Johnson, the Peruvian Circ., Powder Paridise, and/or under the Road to Provo. If you are at snowbird early on a "powder day" check with a clerk in the Powder Shots showroom on the 2nd level of the Snowbird Center. You may get the Powder Shot of a lifetime. Photographers typically stay until the powder gets tracked out, which is usually around 10:30am.
